Tour Overview

Start Time 9am – End Time 5pm, 8 hour Tour max
London, the capital of the United Kingdom, is steeped in great history and royal tradition and captures the imagination of visitors from all over the world. Whether you are visiting for the first time and would like a classic sightseeing tour or are returning to see certain places of interest at your own pace, this tour is fully customisable and has something for everyone.

On our classic London tour we will cover all the major London landmarks from street level. This means we stop and get out of the vehicle and walk around for a suitable amount of time for you to immerse yourself in the history and take some wonderful photos while our guide tells you all the stories and facts at what you are looking at before you move onto the next spot.

We cover spots like:

  • Buckingham Palace
  • Trafalgar Square
  • Big Ben
  • House of Parliament
  • Parliament Square
  • London Bridge
  • Tower Bridge
  • River Thames
  • Hyde Park
  • Abbey Road and Studios
  • Harrods Department Store
  • Piccadilly Circus
  • Royal Albert Hall
  • Prince Albert Memorial
  • Princess Diana Memorial
  • Number 10 Downing Street
  • The Monument

Of course we cannot guarantee to see them all as we don’t control London traffic etc but we will do our very best to do as many as possible.

You will also have time during this tour to go fully inside up to two venues roughly 1 hour inside each up to two venues as mentioned and completely explore them as you see fit. If my guide cannot join you as some spots don’t allow external guides he will tell you all the history before you enter, what to see and do and how long to spend and then will meet you at the exit. You can of course join the venues own tours they have while inside or use their wonderful audio tours and self guide. This will work perfectly as per our trip advisor and google reviews show.

The venues we suggest you pick from are below.

  • Tower of London
  • Westminster Abbey
  • London Eye
  • Kensington Palace
  • Churchill War Rooms

This really is the best way to see London in one day.

The tour of Stonehenge with access into the stone circle and Avebury Henge was everything we had hoped for and more! Nik was an excellent guide with a great understanding of the history and lore of the region as well as the stones. His ability to educate, communicate and interact with the kids as well as adults is well beyond the ordinary. Charles was a wealth of information and helped guide us through the process of getting the Stonehenge Inner Circle tickets very efficiently.

We had an absolutely grand day out with Kingdom Private Tours - traveling to Windsor Castle, Salisbury, and Bath. Our guide Doug picked our group of six up at the door of our flat and drove us in a comfortable, air-conditioned van to all locations, providing interesting conversation and historical background. We were thoughtfully provided with water, charging cords of all types, and rest stops throughout the day. We greatly enjoyed our time with Doug and shared a lot of laughs and stories on our drives. This is our second outing with KPT (first was June 2022) and we have been impressed greatly both times with our guides and the level of detail in planning and execution of the day that is provided to make it all go smoothly. We will definitely plan an outing with KPT again when we visit the area. I highly recommend KPT.

Mo helped make memories beyond my wildest dreams. My wife Christine and I had an opportunity to visit England recently, something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve longed to visit a place I imagined to be my home, Midford England…as it’s my last name and felt a calling. We had Salisbury and Bath planned and asked Mo to “swing by” Midford and maybe we could even get a pic with a sign with my name. His kindness, openness and willingness to explore gave me an experience of a lifetime. Not only did we get the photo op, when we visited the village and drove on the roads I felt a sense of HOME that was overwhelming. Home, a place we all seek, the sense of peace, safety. Home, a return to simplicity and calmness. Home, where things make sense because all fear leaves and you let love in. Thank you Mo, you are not a tour guide to me you are a messenger sent to me at the perfect time to return me where I belonged in that moment, Home.

This company does an excellent job. In particular, you must request Nick as your guide. He is cheerful, filled with facts, and very engaging. Everyone in the family had a great day, and Nick was a big part of that. We really loved all the facts that he had and he knew exactly when to contribute, and exactly when we needed a little quiet time in the car. Transportation was easy and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Nick did an excellent job setting everything up, and even made reservations for us for lunch right across the street from Windsor Castle. Excellent day. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Our driver Nik was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better guide than Nik and someone that we can now call a friend.

Kingdom Private Tours was a wonderful experience from the start. Dealing with Charles to set up the tour was seamless and he had great suggestions. His communication was great. We set up a tour from our cruise ship in Southampton, with stops at Stonehenge and two villages in the Cotswolds with a lunch stop, And ending in Bath. Douglas was our TourGuide and also communicated spot on as to his arrival, where to meet him and what to look for. Douglas was a pleasure to spend the day with, knowledgeable and funny! We started off at Stonehenge, where he not only was very knowledgeable, but an ace with capturing great photographs and posing! He even played on the ground to get some crazy pictures for us. Then off to Lacock where we sopped in an old charming pub with great history and wonderful food. Our tour around the village was full of history and film facts! Harry Potter fans, this is a must do! Again great photos taken by Douglas. We then headed to Castle Combe, such a cute village. Douglas kept us laughing and filled us with historical facts and showed us such interesting places. An amazing driver! We would never attempt to do this drive on our own! He delivered us to Bath after a beautiful day! 9 1/2 hours

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Kingdom Tours, and especially with our guide, Nick! From start to finish, the day was seamless, informative, and truly memorable. Nick brought the history of London to life in a way that felt engaging, fun, and never overwhelming. His knowledge is incredible, but what really stood out was his ability to tailor the tour to exactly what we wanted—mixing iconic landmarks with hidden gems we never would have found on our own. He handled all the logistics effortlessly, making the day completely stress-free. Whether we were exploring historic sites, hearing fascinating stories, or getting great local recommendations, Nick made every moment count. If you’re looking for a private tour in London, don’t think twice—book with Kingdom Tours and ask for Nick. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip!

Amazing tour! We went to Corfe Castle and Durdle Door with our tour guide, Douglas. He was very knowledgeable about the history and best sights to see. We stayed in London, so it was about a 2 hour drive and he told us about the history and sites we passed along the way. Very friendly, timely and took great pictures! Ask for Douglas! A private tour was definitely an easy way to travel and see these locations without being rushed. We will be booking with Kingdom Private Tours again.

We had an amazing day out with Jay. This was our 2nd tour with Kingdom and it was amazing! We went to Dover Castle, White Cliffs of Dover, Canterbury and Canterbury Cathedral. Jay is very knowledgeable and knows quite a bit of British history. We had plenty of time at each site. We will definitely request him on our next trip to the UK. Prior to the tour, Charles Morgan was great at communication and always returned our emails immediately. If you are looking to book a tour while in the UK, book this company. They are the real deal!!
